It's that time of the year again. Where you're too caught up in the holiday and Christmas hype to realise that the year is ending. It was only on the News today, I realised that there was only 14 DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS! Omfg I haven't even written my letter to Santa yet. =(

And so I realised how fast this year had passed us by. It seemed like only yesterday when I typed up my new year's resolutions on this blog, when I was overwhelmed with the prospect of becoming a year 9 with electives, and leaving 7/8G for the first time - I still fkn love that class no matter what. And realising that the year is enclosing once again, I frantically dug through all my embarrassing old posts to unravel ..

JANUARY, 2008: NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS BABY –

1. STRAIGHT A’S FOR YEARLIES.
2. GROW UP TO 165cm (psht I wish. Happy with 160)
3. Kick those brand new yr 7’s wheelie bags.
4. Kick.. (the ball) LOL BYE – knockout, indoor futsal gala day, grade .. etc.
5. DANCE DANCE BBY - Perform @ Variety night, SHAKESPEARE FEST (Julliet and eh .. Julliet? aish) and all others.
6. Buy a wig for Augustus.
7. Wait, make the above a toothpaste.
8. Get “recognised” at the next Rec assembly .. and not for the wrong reasons *mind drifts back to the time when I had to help Maybeth up the stage ==*
9. Be nice to everyone .. (besides you you you and maybe you .. aish that’s not good)
10. Make second maths class. (Piss off, Augustus .. taking up space)
11. Never leave assignments until the day before it’s due.
12. Study EARLY for exams with the exclusion of my best buddy *looks @ comp*
13. Do not sleep later than 12:00am due to unfinished assignments.
14. MAKE ALL THE TEACHES LOVE ME *brews love potions* MWAHAHA THANKYOU, PROFESSOR SNAPE?
15. RECEIVE THE SYDNEYWEST ATTENDENCE AWARD WITH TOM xD
16. Thy shalt concentrate in all thy classes no matter how much I hate that particular teacher .. teachers .. =\
17. Buy 5 boxes of deo for D3
18. There are more but I cbf/can’t remember. =P Generally just live through year 9 I guess .. and live every moment etc all that cliché shie :'D

Woah, how long ago was that?! And looking back, I think I've actually accomplished all of them.
1. Straight A's : report comes out Monday so I'll know by then, but half yearlies were straight A's - o.5 accomplished.
2. I'm still 158.5cm - failed.
3. I didn't kick year 7 bags cos that's slack.
4. Soccer - yes to grade sport, yes to futsal comp (== second place), was going to do gala except it was on the day of Duke of Ed.. so basically - accomplished.
5. Dance - WHOOT SPRING FAIR DANCE! - ACCOMPLISHED.
6. No wig for "Augustus"
7. Nor toothpaste either. I shouldn't have been so slack.
8. RECO TOMORROW HAHAHAHA. Recognised at half year and yearlies - accomplished!
9. I'm nicer to most people? Sorry if I've been slack to you this year..
10. Second maths class - yup I think so. Classes come out soon so I'll update later but I think I made second - accomplished.
11. I tried not doing assos the day before but still ended up doing some - 0.5 FAILED.
12. Study early for exams - accomplished.
13. I still sleep later than 12:00am doing assos. HEY! BLAME PHOTOGRAPHY AND VD! - Failed.
14. Not sure about this one ;) kekeke.
15. I don't think I got one BUT I HAD PERFECT ATTENDENCE THIS YEAR. Didn't miss one day of school - ACCOMPLISHED.
16. Concentrate in class - eh 0.5 accomplished.
17. DEO FOR D3 - ooh ooh need to buy some.
18. And here I am, I would say I've lived through year 9. (accomplished)The enjoy every moment thing was kinda.. blurred by certain things which happened this year, but I think I realised just how important it is to just, not stress out on the little things and never take things for granted. Wow, cliche.

8.5/18 accomplished so far. Pretty good eh? I'll make next year's laters. =)
